About Dancemakers:
Welcome to Maine’s leading dance center. Founded in December of 2008, Dancemaker’s mission is to provide the most cutting edge and up to date dance classes to aspiring Maine dancers.
Dancemakers is not specialized in one dance form or another. We are more then simply a “ballet company,” “tap studio,” or a “theatre school.” Nowhere else in Maine can one student seek the most advanced in contemporary, jazz, or hip hop, ballet, tumbling and more! Our children’s classes are taught with a curriculum to ensure progressive learning while at the same creating a fun an exciting atmosphere. Our teen and adult dancers are solid and well rounded because we excel in all forms of dance, from traditional disciplines to the newest trends. From east coast flair to west coast style, Dancemakers is the only studio where you can find both New York and L.A. style classes here in Maine.
Always instep with the rest of the national dance community, our classes and styles are always changing and evolving, as it should be.

Our Faculty:
Our teachers have such a vast array of professional credits that they are sought after not only here in Maine, but for workshops and master classes, both locally an nationally. Classes are never taught by young teenagers or students. We believe when families pay for instruction, they deserve a real adult professional. Dancemakers houses only adult instructors with professional resumes as paid choreographers and dancers or teachers with college degrees in dance education.
Our instructors and classes are so sought after, that our studio roster consists of students from the towns and cities of Windham, Gray, Raymond, Westbrook, Portland, Poland, New Gloucester, Auburn, Oxford, South Paris, Bethel, Cumberland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, and even students from as far as New Hampshire.

The Dancemakers office team is devoted to the highest standard of customer service to our families and students. Our office is always open while classes are in session. We believe that should a parent have questions, answerers should be immediately attainable. Our office team’s primary aim is to ensure the growth and vitality of Dancemakers while working hand in hand with our loyal families.
